Rachel Jacobs
The Grinberg Method is still in
its infancy in this country but is well recognised in Europe. Indeed she
travels to Switzerland to train in the method and there are over 40
practitioners in Geneva alone.
If there is a physical
condition, an inability to express certain emotions, a recurring
situation, habit or mood you would like to change The Grinberg Method is
a way of learning through the body, with massage accompanied by
instruction to teach a client different options and so changing their
repetitive patterns of behaviour. By teaching a client to pay attention
to themselves in a very specific way they are then free to experience
situations in a new way, with renewed energy.
Rachel was
an actress for 25 years working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, The
National Theatre, in Film and Television, before deciding that, with a
young family, it was the right time for a change of career.
With
only 4 other practitioners permanently based in this country Rachel is
very excited about being one of the pioneers of The Grinberg Method in
the UK, at The Osteopathic House.
